Business Manager
This status of residence is applied in cases where the applicant establishes a company in Japan and becomes a director himself, or in cases where the applicant wishes to become a director or manager of an existing Japanese company.
| Eligibility for the status | ･ To have the intention to pursue activites in the range of managing and running a business. It is forbidden to estalish a fake business only to obtain a visa as Business Manager. |
| Standard to meet | ･ Run a business in accordance with Japanese Laws and Regulations ･ The business must be of a sclae large enough to be stable and continuous.（standard：minimal capital of 5 millions yens, or have at least two full-time employees residing in Japan） ･ If engaging in Business Management, have at least three years of experience as a Business manager. ( As smply an investor in the business , previous experience is irrelevant. ･ To have an income equal or superior to that of a Japanese National |
